More on the Dive Rite Optima...

DiveRiteExpress is now accepting "pre-orders" for the Optima.

Total configured price is $6500 (US); a 10% deposit is required.

Note that "consumables" are not included - including the requisite 3 O2
sensors - in that nut. Of course the usual training requirement is also
    separate.

I wander if the price is the definitive one, I mean they spoke about something between 5000 and 6000.

Delivery of the units is behind schedule. It is now anticipated for late August.

Price went up a while ago, to $6,900 for the basic unit without consumables. $690 deposit due for pre-orders.

Pre-Order Bonus now includes free ADV option, free trimix option and free shipping

Well, it wasn't the final price after all. ;)

Worse, the ADV and trimix option are $300 each, so the fully loaded price is $7,500.

Consumables add up, too. A set of three R-22DR sensors costs $199, a case of four ExtendAir cartridges $129
(that's twice per fill than the 6 lbs of Sodasorb for the PRISM, and that last longer!)
    and $69 for a 10-pack of HH batteries ... $397 . KA-CHING!
