    Shelf Life of Sofnolime

    Hi all!
What is the shelf life of Sofnolime?
I have 4 kegs that just got to Peru with date indicating 04 Feb 05.
I hope that this is the manufacturing date. Can anybody confirm?
How long is it good for?

    Cheers
    Nick T.

    Thanks Ken!
I just got an email from Molecular. I sent them the date but they want the lot number.
With that they will be able to confirm that experiation date.
Sounds like a long shelf life...

Hey, is the stuff realy suposed to turn purple? Lately, maybe I wait to long to check it but note no color change (i.e. maybe it went back to white). This is true for the last night's dive and for the classes we had in Alex bay. Is this noticable only imediatly after the dive?

    Cheers

As stated by E-man... Sofnolime, Sodasorb turn white unless you yank the canister out a short time after the dive. The iodine indicator IMO is a nice novelty...would be nice if they left it out a chemical that really does nothing. Cheers. Ken
