Dive Rite will be offering the opportunity to dive the O2ptima rebreather on Sat, May 3rd, at Jackson Blue Springs Park, in Marianna, Florida, sponsored by Cave Adventurers, and again on Sunday, May 4th, at Vortex Springs in Ponce de Leon, Florida.
John Faircloth will guide all divers on a :20-:30 minute dive using the O2ptima in the spring basins...you must be Nitrox certified and pay a $25 instructor fee to participate. John will give an approximate :60 minute pre-dive briefing on the operation of the unit prior to starting the diving sessions...you must be present at this briefing to participate. We will have spots for 10 divers to experience the O2ptima, beginning at 9:00 a.m. each day with the briefing.
There will also be a Dive Rite Demo Day going on in concurrence with this event...come dive the full line of Dive Rite gear (no charge for in-water demos), such as the new 500 lumen LED light, the new 360 Classic wing, 905 front-zip drysuits, the Jetstream and RG3000 regulators, reels, 10 and 24 watt HID lights, Transpacs and backplate/aircell syatems, and lots more!
