Just a quick reminder to join all of the northlanders at Ghost Ships Festival in Milwaukee this coming weekend. The show starts at 3pm on Friday. Come and experience the latest in rebreathers with new Inspirations, ReVo, and other rebreathers. Underwater Connection will also have the new Sub Zero under garments from Fourth Element on display with many other styles for purchase. The new Shearwater Pursuit Computers will be on display along with Curt McNamee from Shearwater to answer any questions. Ron Benson, CCR Instructor Trainer along with Bill Prince from Nordic Diver will also be in attendance. Wow what an awesome event to look forward to. -JMK

I’m definitely going to be there.

I’ve been attending this annual event since its humble beginnings over at the Milwaukee public library. Though smaller than the “other” area shows, it is well worth the effort to attend, especially if you’re sick to death of nothing but the cutesy fish pictures and smiling morons populating the PADIverse. This show is dedicated to Great Lakes shipwrecks, the history surrounding them, and the divers who explore them. There are fewer booths than the bigger shows, but I find MANY more worth checking out- not to mention the occasional bargain.

Rob- see you there. If I can keep my head outta me arse I’ll remember to bring along your CK CL you lent to me for that project ages ago (ask Ron about it). I was planning to return it by flying into C33, but the Eze developed a bad left mag (like dead ) on the way home from Oshkosh and I frankly wanted to spend what little was left of the summer diving rather than getting bloody knuckles fixing it.

I was doing my CCR training in FL with Ron and had the unfortunate luck of having a bad wrist seal. Didn't figure it out until I got down there...so had no other choice but to dive "wet". I had just purchased Fourth Element from Underwater Connection before I went down and was blown away at how awsome it is. I was warm the entire time (yeah, I know it was Florida as opposed to the Great Lakes).

We will be at Ghost Ships this weekend (March 7 and 8) with lots of Fourth Element to check out. It is my understanding that U/C is the only dealer in WI and IL for Fourth Element (just a side note )

Underwater Connections is now also stocking Grace Sodasorb (4-8 and 6-12) as well as spare parts for Inspiration and Evolution CCR. We are also dealers for Shearwater, which will also be at Ghost Ships to check out.

Look forward to meeting all the other CCR divers and soon to be CCR divers.
