I'm thinking about Saturday. It's the usual LIDS bias towards holidays and selling timeshares (must think we southerners are wealthy or something

), but the rEvo will be there and I'd really like to have a look at that Diveshows LIDS 2008.

I am planning on going on Saturday, I do tend to agree with previous posts about the NEC, but it always seems to fall on a weekend I can't make.

Plus the Excel one is near my birthday so I have an excuse to 'treat' myself!

This year - new stage regs me thinks, nice and shiny!!!

yes for the 1st two don't know about boot, will just have to hope that it's at production stage, I don't think there were to be many changes anyway.

VR3 C4 brand new - nearly 2 weeks old - never removed from box!

C4 = Trimix OC/CCR with mono screen. My boyfriend got it for me but I don’t
dive enough to need an £800 computer! My vytec is more than enough for now

Hi Guy's

We will not have a stand at LIDS this weekend and it is purely about cost we can afford to be at Birmingham with a fair size presence but not both so LIDS loses out I'm afraid and that does seem to be a common theme amongst many who support the Shows.

I would echo what has already been said that a single UK show may be better/bigger than the two that are currently organised.

We are working on a number of new initiatives for Birmingham later this year that will highlight Rebreather & Technical diving focusing mainly on Europe and I would hope we will start to see details about this being posted shortly.

So enjoy LIDS those who are going and I will look out for posts about the show but I will be heading to Portsmouth for the weekend as 25 of us from Dublin are off to visit the HMS Warrior HMS Warrior 1860 - Welcome on Board - Page 1 of 2 as we have the sister ship the HMS Vanguard sitting in 50mtrs in Dublin Bay and it is a cracking wreck to dive.
