c-19 is realeasing TEKcam in a few months. The VGA will vary depending on the storage options chosen but they couldn't give me this information. Bottom line: If I'm spending £850 I would want to know the resolution the unit can deliver. Also the footage they were showing on the monitor seemed to me to be mostly Mini DV with the VEEcam footage condensed into smaller windows, which increased perception of the resolution.

·How deep can the unit really go? We have successfully tested VEEcam to 150m. The product is sold with a depth rating of 100m.

·Can VEEcam record sound? VEEcam is compatible for audio. An external microphone can be plugged in to the second port. Additionally, a camera with an integrated microphone is soon to be released. It is waterproof but will not be rated to the same depth as the standard camera (100m).
·Can the camera be upgraded? Presently the camera is a 2.2MPixel CMOS sensor. This has been selected to provide an optimum balance between video and still image quality. Higher resolution sensors will produce better quality still images but will not increase the video quality as this is recorded as VGA (640x480). In the short term, there is no plan to develop upgraded cameras.
