I seem to recall several people where showing Rebreather components at DEMA last year, apparently unheard of ever since... why do they do this? You don't make any moeny claiming you have a rebreather, you just look a complete berk!
I'm happy with the current situation, as it's saving me money. 'We' have a Vision, but my wife hasn't done Mod 1 yet. She has had a fit of Swedish national solidarity (curious as she's really Peruvian) and wants a Cis Lunar 6 whenever they become available.

So, as long as it stays vapourware but Poseidon keep puffing it, no money needs to be found to fund Mod 1 or another unit and I can happily carry on as the only Rebreather diver in my household .

Looking on the bright side,

Anyone remember the Trimix Dolphin?

I found a note about it in an old 9-90 the other month.

Looking forward to seeing this unit up and running again. It was an amazing piece of kit although just too pricey. Maybe Poseidon can get the cost mainstream.

Pricing is a downstream function. At least I hope that they learnt how to design a backplate/harness system and not come up with the crap they produced as new harness for the rebreather and anything else.

Where any weight on the back tensioned the belly straps via the shoulder straps, and the rucksack principle was completely abandoned.

I wonder if they are referring to Posidon's new Rebreather or something else

Nah, that's nothing for a Swedish viking. I'll take two in case I have to bail out ;-)

I take it the NASA sticker is required in case your Lithium Hydroxide scrubber leaks?

Red hoses will NEVER catch on though.

I doubt that. Bill Stone mentioned a "briefcase size", and 3 hrs 60 duration, meant for cave/sump exploration with weight issues.

Poseidon already presented the harness, which borrowed the Interspiro Quick Release, and shows some design flaws, like no true rucksack pinciple, and the shoulderstraps are looped through to become belly straps, w/o any tension relief, so that weight distributes down to the stomach.
A simple SS clip would have helped here.
Furthermore, the quick release is offsets the load from the divers back.

Re: Poseidon / Cis-Lunar Mk VI

They´ll be demoing it in a pool in sweden for a limited audience the week before DEMA so I´d expect it to be working at least...
