O2ptima Rebreather Experience...Aug 25th..

There will be an hour long clinic on the O2ptima CCR, presented by Paul Heinerth, a CCR instructor with over 15 years of rebreather experience, after which the opportunity to dive the unit will be available.
There is a $25 fee for his time and scrubber use on the unit. There are 12 spots available Saturday, Aug. 25th...if you want to sign up early, call Jeff at Scuba West (727/863-6911) to get on the list.
After the the hour orientation, each diver will be briefed on the unit and do a :20-:30 min. dive. Lamar Hires, Dive Rite CEO and the developer of the O2ptima CCR will also be on hand to answer questions about the unit.
There will also be a clinic on the Nomad sidemount system, which has proven to be an ideal way to wear the CCR unit.
This is your chance to get in the water...and make NO bubbles!

There is a new schedule regarding the O2ptima Experience at Scuba West/Hudson Grotto on Sat/Sun..Aug. 25/26.
Lamar Hires, CEO and developer of the O2ptima CCR will be there both days to conduct the orientation lecture for the in-water O2tima dives...Paul Hienerth will conduct the experience dives.
There will also be clinics on the Nomad sidemount system (VERY useful when using the CCR!), also conducted by Lamar Hires.
The $25 fee still applies, to cover the in-water instructors time and use of consumables on the CCR.
