Beneath the Sea

Lynn and I have decided to go to Beneath the Sea this year. From looking at the floorplan, it looks like all of the major rebreather vendors are going to be there.

Are many people from here going to be there?

I'll be there all three days, Friday night working the room for Tom Mount, Tim O'Leary and Dave Weber, Saturday bumming around, and Sunday bringing the kids by. My son will be there in his home-built. It still needs a little paint and fine-tuning, but he's tickled, and looking forward to wearing it there. I kicked around the idea of putting the shearwater HUD on it before reason prevailed (3 year old + expensive kit = whatta ya, stoopid or somethin'?)

As I work in the basement I can't help but think this is the exact same way every unit began, with the possible exception of the ecstatic, panting, cartwheeling 3 year old.

Even though Emmett knows its only "for pretend" he still keeps asking me when he can take it into the pool. Not surprising from a boy who wears fins to bed...
