| Moving dives into Shearwater Desktop? Just got my Predator back from Curt - it's awesome! I can't wait to dive it. I had a copy of Ross' "Shearwater Dive Log Manager" where I was uploading all my dives. I was wondering if there was a way to export my dives from Ross' program and into the new Shearwater Desktop? Thanks, -Brett |

| Re: Moving dives into Shearwater Desktop? Ross's program created a *.swlogdata file with each upload. Those files can be imported into the current Shearwater Desktop program. You will have to search your hard drive for them with the "show hidden files" option selected in windows explorer. Bruce

| Re: Moving dives into Shearwater Desktop? The dive data files were stored in the OS recommended file system locations. In the Start, Run box, type: %APPDATA%\Shearwater\DiveData\ Or at a command prompt, type: explorer %APPDATA%\Shearwater\DiveData\ Or in XP manually look at: C:\Documents and settings\<user>\Application data\Shearwater\DiveData\ Or in Vista / Win 7 manually look at: C:\Users\<user>\AppData\roaming\Shearwater\Divedat a\ Regards

| Re: Moving dives into Shearwater Desktop? Back on topic-I had the same question as the OP so I followed the instructions in this thread and had no problems moving my Hemingway data into my Shearwater program. Good thread, good answers. Thanks to Bruce and Ross for the "how to". |
