Hi Peter,

No they help with loop volume and are very much like the Ouroboros, you don't even notice or see them, as the diver, in the water.

Cheers,

Dave Cooper.

That's really pretty awesome looking. Its nice to see a rebreather that doesn't look like either Sony's My First Diving Equipment or the backpack from Ghostbusters.

Anyway, do you know who is diving it in the pictures, Barry ?

If it is Kevin, does anyone know how tall he is ?

Just trying to get a frame of reference on the size of the unit since I am only 5'7"/170cm on a "tall day".

Hi Phi,

It is Kevin who is about my height from memory circa 5'9",.

Cheers,

Dave.

Thanks Dave.

Judging from the picture, I would guess the Sentinel is about the same height as the Inspiration then (?)

If the Size Comparison in C2R's Rebreather chart is correct, the Sentinel at 62 cm is 3 cm shorter than the Inspiration.

...which is good.

However, it looks as if the thickness of the OTS-CL units (i.e. Insp, Evo, Meg, Optima) included the CL dimensions as well...
