| Staying Silent! Mostly... Current Rebreather/s: | Re: More info on the Sentinel?? Ah but the thing to note is that the website is registered to Nick Bushell who I believe wrote one of the log download programs for the VR3.... So it may not be an officially sanctioned website hence the reason it only appears to have the same info that is currently available elsewhere and has no new pricing details. |

| Custom Title Allowed! Current Rebreather/s: | Re: More info on the Sentinel?? Interesting, that's what it seemed to me to. But aside from the marketing brochure, what are really the innovations in the Sentinel. It seems that a lot of them have to do with the electronics, the presence of intelligent built in checklists, the face that the PPO2 transition from surface (say 0.7) to bottom (say 1.0) is gradual. What else is there ? |

Inhale counterlung "on the side" of the breathing path. Efficiency increase for an axial scrubber. Building the ADV and solenoid shutoffs into the over-the-shoulder mounted off-board gas injection blocks is something that also appears a little different. Having three levels of the same rebreather designed for difference types of diving. None of these is likely earth shattering but put them all into the same package with a hopefully solid design and it might just be a good rebreather. |
