| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Photos of Sentinel Rebreather Ive tried to reply to this thread a few times but my laptop battery is a few years old so it doesnt last long anymore....wish I could just throw some cheap off the shelf batteries in my laptop - would be handy - especially at remote sites miles from mains power Hi Mike ..now what were we talking about? The Lithium battery pack can be replaced quickly and easily by just unscrewing the POD cap and plugging in new or spare batteries. The battery charger has a auto switching power supply module built in and the plug ends can also be changed depending on which country you are in. Regards Al

Could be reading a good value pre-dive and go Tango Uniform during the dive??

Could be reading a good value pre-dive and go Tango Uniform during the dive?? They don't die off in a linear fashion such that they provide full power till they don't (e.g. torch light doesn't get dimmer, it just goes off). If they're being monitored properly - like on your laptop where it tells you how many % / hours you've left - you should be able to have a reasonable indication as to how much life is left on them at all times. |

Hi MempilotThe rechargable Ouroboros and Senitel are also fitted with a backup rechargable battery that provides power when the main battery gets low. By the time you get to this point there are quite a few low battery warnings to alert the user. Al
