![]() | Air z O2, Oxy2, and Mac OsX To all- Not sure if this is the best forum, but since I am diving SCR... I have an Air Z O2 with the Oxy2 as well as a Mac Powerbook with OsX 10.4. Now, supposedly, from the Uwatec website, you can download software, called JTrack, that will allow you log all of your dives onto the PC. And yes, I do have VirtualPC, I choose not to run it if at all possible. Besides, I am uncertain as to whether or not I could use a PC enabled IrDA dongle while running VirtualPC. Have not bought the dongle and wanted opinions. LINK to Software page for JTrack. The software does not indicate that it is usable with the Air Z O2 (or Air X O2 for that matter), but the replacement computer is listed. I cannot get an email from the appropriate personnel at Uwatec for an answer (Eric Schulte)?! Similarly, one can theoretically transfer the info to a PDA and presumably then transfer to software, but I have not tried. LINK to Software page for Palm PDA Has anyone with similar hardware done this? Does it work? What kind of IrDA USB device are you using? Please let me know. Thanks. -Adam |

![]() | Re: Air z O2, Oxy2, and Mac OsX The only way I know of to download info from your Air z O2 to a PC is to use a Memo Mouse with the Data Track program. I have to believe if you have a Mac you need a Mac compatible Memo Mouse. |

| Steve Sprague Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Air z O2, Oxy2, and Mac OsX IrDa support for OSX is non very good. I did find one IrDa USB dongle for the Mac, hoping I could figure out how to upload from my IrDa dive computer but I can't yet get it to work. The dongle and driver was for a running shoe that logs run data. If you are better at the inner workings of Mac OS than I am it may work. Send me a PM if you want the driver.

| New Member Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Air z O2, Oxy2, and Mac OsX I use a Palm Pilot as a simulated memo mouse to transfer the info from the Air Z O2. There is a software package called pladdin and it can be used in conjunction with the Aquadive palm dive log as well as the freely down loadable Uwatec log book. I personally am still using the Uwatec log book. Check the pladdin site for all of the details. It will get you through what you need if you want to go that route. Bye for now, Chris |
