'Normal' hose connectors on a Dolph?

Has anyone tried using BCD inflator hoses with an adaptor on the dosing unit of a Dolph? With a 10L H valve tank the tank has to be offset a bit as the hoses are a bit short, I was thinking of getting an adaptor made up so I could use longer hoses, unless someone sells hoses about 2-3" [50-75mm] longer?

How do others get around the problem?

I'm off to build a diving snowman now.

I made my own. I used the old connectors and got some swedge ferrules. No company will make them up if you tell them what you are doing.

Martin at Tecme does adapters that fit on the dosing heads and the ADV head to allow 'normal' second stage hoses to fit. You should find it eaesier to get different length second stage hoses or make your own. See http://www.rebreatherworld.com/kiss-...t=custom+hoses

Re: 'Normal' hose connectors on a Dolph?

Tecme sell adaptors that allow you to use a standard medium pressure Reg hose to fit both dosage and bypass. This gives you a longer hose. Then use an AP re-usable 3/8 fitting and you can shorten the hose again.

Alterntively, There's a shop on Ebay that sells adaptors that allow you to link two MP hoses together, (2nd stage fitting fits onto one end and the 3/8 thread goes into the other). You could extend the original Dolphin hoses that way again using a MP Hose, assuming you've got the newer Drager hose threads. But then again, Tecme sell adaptors.
(Sorry, can't remember Ebay sellers name at the moment but if you look at Scuba "other" I'm sure you'll find some)

Hope this helps
