Exclamation Interspiro "IS-MIX"

A "new" rebreather from INTERSPIRO (FFM manufacturer, former AGA). Take a look at:

Considering it's still an SCR I have problems beleiving this in absence of electronics. If it's true then this is most definately the must have tool especially because you also breath a mixture with a pPO2 optimized for minimum decompression time.

They talk about keeping the fraction of O2 constant, not the po2...

With the "constant" probably to be read as roughly constant or more favourable in its change than in most other SCR.

Looks very nice and I know the unit incorporates many innovative things. But remember that the pdf-document is probably just something intended for limited distribution. I would not draw too many conclusions about the actual workings of the various possible versions of the unit from it.

What kind of innovative things do you know about?

Range 100meters with brown mix. Trimix 23/34/43 ?????
Po2 0,16ish at surface??
And the END is not even worth mention????
