Question Head Up Display

Yet more questions!!

A friend and I were chatting earlier tonight and we were wondering whether there is a head up display which can be hooked up to the dolphin? It's a safe rebreather but a little led to warn you early if anything goes wrong could be nice...

Incidentally, any VR£ users amongst the pod? Another part of the conversation concerned the fact that my Aladin gives me an audible warning if the ppo2 drops and we wondered whether the VR£ gave the same

Thanks as usual Gentlemen (and gentleladies!!)

Re: Head Up Display

SubSea Sytems lists one that I think would work. Everyone seems to say their gear is top rate, however I don't know if it's really possible to buy anything from them, I'm trying to get one for my KISS, and so far have not received a reply! Then again, it's only been a bit over a week that I've been trying!

Good Luck!

I've been trying since Feb 2nd, even sent off an order 2 weeks ago for the KISS Value Pack - no responses. I guess patience is the order of the day.

You might consider the SCR version of the rEvoDream from Paul Raymaekers at rEvo. Drive it with one or 2 cells and it comes standard with a HUD. The SCR switch broadens the acceptable PPO2 operating range of the green LED to compensate for the floating PPO2 of an SCR.

Or deep six your VR3 and get a Shearwater Pursuit and HUD. The SCR mods for the Pursuit are due this month.
