![]() | Drager Mouth Piece I would like to change the mouth piece on a Dolphin, and was wondering if anyone has done this, and which model/type they used. I was hoping to do a Sea-Cure type. I did hear that replacing the factory mouth piece was not recommended as it could cause flow restrictions. Thanks for the information.

Thanks for the information. if you don't want to use the original mouth piece you'll have to find a very wide one cause the regular regulator mouth pieces are mutch less wide then the doplhin original ones.I've recently used a regulator mouth piece but I had to for a lot to adapt is...it works....for the moment... I've ordered an original one...I've dives many years with an original dolphin mouth piece and noticed no flow restriction as wel I did not note any flow enhancement after changing the replacing the original mouth piece. regards jean mi

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Drager Mouth Piece Corey, I use Poseidon mouthpieces as they have a large bore as well. I saw somewhere that Seacure has a mouthpice for the Poseidon now. If they do, it should be a good fit. The problem with Secure and large bore is thay do restrict the flow. This is not good under stress. Dale |

| Steve Sprague Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Drager Mouth Piece Seacure has a new "High Flow" model: http://www.seacure1.com/hiflow.htm I have not tried it, I have an original Seacure II on my Dolphin and have not noticed a flow restriction. When I formed mine, I was carefull not to bite too much since that is where the flow restriction is. To get it to fit, you can "customize" the DSV end of the Seacure just like you customize it to fit your bite. I would soften it less time than for fitting to your mouth, it almost fits without remolding.
