![]() ![]() ![]() | Oxy2 Computer Help I've recently purchased my first Rebreather. Bought it all new, some still in original boxes from a listing on Rebreather World. I have a Dolphin with a new Oxy2 unit. The AirZ O2 that I used for my certification dives is no longer made. My lds told me that the Smart Z is the replacement for it. If you had a AirZ O2 to send in for upgrade it would be replaced with a Smart Z. I bought a brand new Smart Z. I have tried everything but a fortune teller and I can't get the Oxy2 to pair with the Smart Z. I have tried powering the computer first, the Oxy2 first, and both together. I'm out of ideas. My guy at the lds who knows rebreathers is on vacation until next weekend. Can anyone tell me for sure if the Smart Z will pair with the Oxy2? If so, how do I get them to sync up. Thanks, FD. ![]() |

| Going Down? ![]() Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Oxy2 Computer Help I don't know if my input will help or not. My experience is with the oxy2 and airzo2. If I remember correctly, once the oxy2 is powered up there is a small window of time for the airzo2 to be paired. If it is not done in that timeframe you must start over. I don't remeber how to placve them to get them paired, sorry, but that is all I remember without the manuals. Hope it helps, are someone else has more info.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Oxy2 Computer Help The Oxy2 will only pair with the airXo2 or the airZo2. I just had a airXo2 running out of Batteries. The computer must be thrown away ore turned in for replacement. Only with a AirZo2 the Batterie problem was solved since the AirZ models allow to have the Batterie replaced. If you have a good Dealer then he will get you a AirZo2 replacement and therefore you will be able to use the Oxy2 for a few more years to come The Smart model series will not pair with the older (analog) sensors. ![]() ![]() | Re: Oxy2 Computer Help He's correct, I just had my Air Z O2 back to Scubapro twice, the first time it locked up with 89% battery, they replaced the battery, got it back and it would not link with my Oxy2 or the remote sensor that I use on my scuba tank. Send it back, they repaired the problem and gave me a new remote sensor for my scuba tank. It works fine. As far as I know the Air Zo2 will only link to Oxy2 (both are old systems). If you don't have the manual for either I can PM you the link procedures.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Oxy2 Computer Help Thanks for the help Rebreather World. I have confirmed that the Oxy2 will not pair with the new computers. I found an Air Z O2 on fleabay. I have listed the new Smart Z I can't use as well. If anyone is interested check out Ebay or PM me for details. FD. |
