![]() ![]() | Re: Dolphin tank clamps I would like to fit 4ltr cyclinders to the side of my dolphin shell. When I was diving my mCCR Dolphin, I used the tiger mounts with 19cu ft tanks installed and had no stability or breakage issues.Any recommendations which ones to use / buy ? they need to be flat one side ! Currently I use the flat quick draw backets that are specially made for the rebreathers for 13 or 19 cu ft bailouts for my Dolphin SCR students again, no issues or problems. RRB |

| Steve Sprague Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Dolphin tank clamps ditto on the quick draw bracket: http://www.quickdrawbracket.com/newproducts.ivnu I used nylon fender washers (larger outside diameter than standard washers) to spread the load where the bolts go through to screw into the bracket. I also used a flattish round headed phillips screw so that there would be no sharp edges to threaten the counter lungs.

Have you tried the seach function on this site? Cant find tiger mounts any where.. who sells them? The quickdraw is a product that is manufactured locally here in the Puget Sound region. The product is in about every dive shop here locally. I notice they have a "feedback" page on their site where you can contact them with questions.

It worked great and are still in use with the guy who bought my home build. Of course I had an aluminium shell to help with the weight of the bottles! ![]() | Re: Dolphin tank clamps This is what I came up with for a low budget backplate/wings adapter for a dolphin shell. Net investment about 10 bucks and a six pack. All of the stainless came from a scrap yard and was formed and fitted with the tools just about anyone will have access to IE drill, vise, 4" angle grinder/sander. I also made the side tank adapters shown in the pics. They are formed from a piece pvc pipe I molded. Then I Rhino lined he whole thing to give it a nice sexy black paint job Any questions just ask ie dimensions etc
