![]() | Depth Experiences Rebreather 80 Hi Folks, Which expericiences have you with depths > 120-m (> 360 ft) using an Rebreather 80. Where is your personel maximum´on depth and why. Could anyone write his/her personel experience. I'm interested on the follwing points: Scrubertime on depth, experiences breathwork, gasdensity used counterlung ratio, effective Ratio I'm prefered interested in experiences using pSCR esp. My unit has a 1:7 ratio practically that is 1:5 I spent very little time at depth – less than 15 below 100m Breath work and WOB was no problem at all at 126m with a mix of 11/80 In general the unit performed very- very well , the temp off the water was 10-11 deg C (and 700m altitude), total dive time 3 hours + 10 minutes. I used a bit more than half of the capacity of scrubber (I put in around 3kg out of 5 kg max) I know that the RECY has been much- much deeper (180m). (the 1:14 ratio unit) Hope this helps george |
