Re: list of RB80 clones

Check the pictures George,
there are some inhale and exhale schemes as well. It could help you to know the construction of SATORI. The middle valve is the most important difference and improvement comparing with other units like this. There is NO rubber membrane in it to avoid any leakage of exhaled gas back to the loop. Check our sizes to see it all.
cheers
Jakub

Hello jakub and welcome to Rebreather World
Your new unit seems interesting – its definitely priced reasonably… does the price includes the BOV?
I believe it would help if you could post some more pics – even better if you were to do a detailed break down
also a pic of the bottom part ,its not very clear
What is the fixed exhalation ratio ?

Hi Ike,

be careful, according to Wikipedia a clone is an exact copy and i heard that the comany reacts strongly if you officially state this.

To attract people its always an RB80 clone, to sell it is is a MUCH BETTER unit which they have engineered. If someones dies it was an RB80 and so on
So it always depends on the viewpoint.

Regards

Michael

Hallo Michael!

For me the AH1 is the best version of all the copys and clones around. Clone is maybe not the right word, its just the system because RB80 was the first machine and all others looking same.
But if you take a look on the Rebreather part you will see there is no difference between them - from the system thats the reason why I spec like the AH1

Also Alex is very nice guy maybe this the reason too

best Ike

Thanks for the drawings and photos, Jakub! Hope mine is on the bench for assembly soon? Looking forward to seeing one in person. I'll post a review after diving it a while here. Have something special in mind for it.

Prior posters are right, calling these a Rebreather-80 clone is not 'really' right, but then again.. it makes the point. To me... it's just a DC-55 clone turned sideways!

Best,

Dave

Hi Jakub,

What second stage ragulator parts are you using for the add valves?

Re: list of RB80 clones

Hi, we use our own stainless add valves for SATORI SCR as well as the middle - exhale counterlung valve. .
