Which would be about right for what it is and imho they would then sell them by the truckload... and a lot of divers would doubtless then move on to buying the ybod and ap valves and friends would make lots of cash... but they don't seem to think like that so we can only get one at that price secondhand and with the worlds worst jacket bolted to it If only a new Dolph was 1200 euro, that would be 800 quid Come the revolution and once I'm dictator it'll all be different! lol |

I've already decided that I will be Supreme-Generalissimo-Beloved-Leader. lolYou can organise the lease of the great wall of China. That's the size wall I need for the number of people on 'my little list' that will go up against it. Voulenteers for firing squad sought...

Something to think about, do you think Drager could do, the shell, counterlungs scrubber and loop from a dolphin, use a Ray reg/dosage/bypass, with a normal DIN fitting and make it easy to attach to a wing, and sell it for a lot cheaper? It wouldn't have the seperate bailout bottle (add your own if you want it), and most other manufacturers provide the option of getting the Rebreather without a wing or tanks. Even if they provide the 32% and the 40% dosage, you're looking at a few cost savings over the Dolphin. Dave |

| Wish list. Something to think about, do you think Drager could do, the shell, counterlungs scrubber and loop from a dolphin, use a Ray reg/dosage/bypass, with a normal DIN fitting and make it easy to attach to a wing, and sell it for a lot cheaper? The Dolphin isn't up isn't as flexible as the Ray in standard form.It wouldn't have the seperate bailout bottle (add your own if you want it), and most other manufacturers provide the option of getting the Rebreather without a wing or tanks. Even if they provide the 32% and the 40% dosage, you're looking at a few cost savings over the Dolphin. Dave For my wish list: Clamshell backplate and cover that can easily be mounted on a CD wing/harness, sides and front [the bit against your back] to be 5mm st/steel, nice and heavy for drysuit diving in the UK in winter, sides in steel to take tank clamps. Adjustable flow rates-and adjustable underwater if there is a problem with high or low vO2. 2 hour and 4 hour rated scrubbers, rather than the half fill adaptor method. pO2 meter that can also transmit fO2 to a computer for those that want that option. Dump valve that can be reached by the user, or a device like a slob knob that lets you alter it if needed.
