# p-ports on Dolphin inhale lung

Hey gang,

I just picked up a used but excellent condition Dolphin, and had a few questions...after hooking up the scrubber, hoses, and ADV/injection block there is one p-port not being used. Obviously this is for o2 monitoring. Does this port come installed from the mfg, or did the previous owner install this? jsut trying to make sure its in the best possible place for o2 cells.

Hi Michael,

The third P type port is installed as standard and is the one that sits at the top of the lung [against the hard shell] when in use.

You should have got a blanking plug with the Rebreather, even if you got the O2 monitoring device that the previous owner had [if any].
