extended air can modified dolphin

Hea divers...anyone use the extended air canister for MCCR?
I'm going to machine mine this week cause the ccr kit i got from tech me has the 02 addition going to the exhale port. cause i got and extended air canister about a years ago from a really great diver who use to have a dolphin...but it dosn't unscrew like the dolphin dose, so if you want to get one modified let me know

Hey Steve,

So you're going to modify the cartridge case... interesting. Why not just inject O2 at the ADV with the adaptor's from TecMe? Is mixing through the cartridge that much of a benefit. Just curious!

Do you have any pictures of the mod'ed lid?

the kit that martin sent me has an adapter to in ject 02 into the scrubber so was thinking of modifying the extended air to do the same, haven't done it yet.
i'll post pics when i do though

Hey Steve,
Watch the o-ring seals on that beastie (extend air canister.)
I had a buddy that has had problems with the single o-ring interface leaking.
Just a heads up mate.

I would like to see the addition when you’re done so I’ll second for pic’s.

Hea duck, thanx for the head up, i got a replacement end incase A) &*() it up B) if i don't want to do the addition through the canister anymore. when it comes to o-rings i'm more careful than most...i serve on a submarine....

Did you put dolphins on your dolpin?

Got a stainless shell might get them etched on...do you have your bubble on your bubblesss?
