Drager Dolphin Breakdown

The Drager Dolphin has been kicking around since 1995 and some may argue that there are better units out there. You can't argue with the fact there are probably more Dolphins in use than all other rebreathers put together
The basic circulation of the Dolphin showing the path of gas through the loop
Nitrox mixes ranging from 60% down to 32% are delivered through 1 of 4 flow orifices. The unused flow orifices are blocked. Later Dolphins used a colour code to identify flow rates of the orifice. Here we see the gas supply connected to the one with the red ring. This indicates a 50% flow orifice. The blue one nest to it is for 40%

Left is an Atlantis canister next to a Dolphin canister. The Dolphin was rated for 3 hrs and is much more robust than the earlier Atlantis canister
The Dolphin canister lid is on the left and has a much heavier gasket. It is recommended to use a strip of electrical tape around the lip of the Atlantis (right) gasket to prevent leakage

Plastic shell with BCD and tank holder removed
BCD is made by Zeagle and provides plenty of lift for cold water diving. It has a number of SS D-rings for hanging things.
