![]() | Flowdirection I have noted that in some scrubberdesigns the flow is inwardbound and some other outwarthbound in radiusflow scrubbers. Anybody know what the advantages/disadvantages of the two designs? All the best... |

Disadvantage (of the inside out design) is the low water flood tolerance from the exhale side of the loop. The relatively small center pipe fills fairly easily and sorb will get soaked. The opposite gas flow allows for water to move down the inside of the can and collect below if sufficient space is left for that.
