Ah so you weren't one of the other inspo divers there then

Might be up for some quarry dives in the darker months, I'll put up a post if we're going to Vobster or NDAC

Can be patient have new toys to play with

I'm might end up in a quarry tomorrow. We've got one locally that's 92m deep, not the easiest to get to, and boring around the edges. The bottom has some interesting stuff, if you like barbed wire. I won't be doing it on CCR though.

As to running the scrubber beyond 3 hours, I know it will if I am in difficulties, but I won't take it there deliberately.

John, I was in exactly the same position as you this time last year and benefitted from some "patient" divers from this site. Happy to return the favour - will give you a yell when I'm going.

Well I've now completed the course and can't wait to get back into the water on my box.

Thank you for all your responses and I'll post some dates soon if anyone fancies a dip.

I'm about 80 miles from Vobster, 120 from NDC and about 150 to Stoney.

If my instructor is reading this (got busted for the scrubber life question) thank you very much, I had a great time on the course.
