![]() | How much you pay Lime for the Kg ? I was just wondering how much you guys are currently paying lime for the kilo. Here in Malta we are paying around 7 euros per Kg, which in my opinon is quite expensive. |

| Annoying fish since 1992 Current Rebreather/s: | Think I paid approx. €95 for a 20 kg drum last time so that makes it just under €5 per kg. If I get 8 fills from a drum that's roughly €12 per fill. If each fill lasts me 3 hours then lime costs me €4 per hour of diving. Last month in the Red Sea we were charged £20 - or €30 - per fill or €12 per kg. But we knew in advance it would be expensive because of Egyptian import duty etc. And the dives were excellent so it was worth it. |

If there's somewhere cheaper, they can have my custom! Cheers, Colin |

![]() | as a comparison spherasorb is around £2/kg and seems to last as long as 797. 2 x 90 min (50-60m) dives in 17deg water at the weekend and only the bottom few inches had gone purple! |
