Re: Sofnolime Source in Ontario, Canada

I was looking around for prices the other day for sodasorb and it seems that Benthic Scuba in Windsor (Benthic SCUBA Center)carries it - so if you're not stuck on sofnolime you could try that - I believe Dave Sutton uses draegersorb in his russian RBs so you could check your local dive shop that carries aqualung (the NA distributors of Draeger Dive products) for prices/availability

The Dive Outfitters in Edmonton will be importing it and I expect they will be able to ship it economically from there. I will be calling Lorne today and I will post some details.

I have 1/2 a pallet left but go with Andre's suggestion. Once again, Andre is 100% correct.

Dive Tech in Mallorytown. They are local, the best tech shop in Ontario and excellent prices. Diving with them is the best with the St. Lawrence next door. Located 15 minutes west of Brockville.

Re: Sofnolime Source in Ontario, Canada

If there are more than a few people interested, may be we put orders together and get a better price.

I am interested in either Sodasorb or Sofnolime, 4-8 mesh grade.

we can just order a crate from divetech. a crate consist of 8 buckets of
40 lb if I remember. cuz like Dan Humble told me, we can save over 35% compare to order by the bucket.

I'm getting my pascr next week in florida but gotta make sure about the grade. I thinks that should be the same as a rb80 since mine is a clone but better email the instructor first.

once I get a confirmation I can just order myself from dan and split the buckets between those interested.

an other alternative would be for me to get some sodasord in florida and bring some bucket back for peoples interested.

well let's see what I can come up with!!!
