Sodasorb vs Sofnolime

Cad anyone tell me what the pros and cons of using one over the other.
I'm going to be diving in Hawaii and I'm not suer i can get Sofnolime 8-12
a friend on the big island has dive Sodasorb im just wondering

generally speaking, the mfg of your unit should be able to provide cannister duration differences for each of the absorbents.

There are specific chemical differences in the two, and their physical characteristics influence breathing characteristics. There are mathematical equations to calculate TBL (theoretical bed life) for different absorbants. These can be found in a book called 'Life Support Systems Design' by Nuckols et al.

Short story, either will work in any unit...
