| Scrubber times with rMS Just interested in what sort of scrubber times people are now getting with the rMS installed. Also what conditions are you diving. Eg temp and depth. Thanks. |

| Re: Scrubber times with rMS I think the first batch should be out in about a week or two. Should be able to get some feedbacks from those guys after that. Cheers, Davy

Eg temp and depth. I think thats an unknown at this point but like most I thought the RMS was all about the scrubber monitor as it turns out I was mistaken. Searching other posts on the matter and having a look at Paul's reply the real value is the digital means of communication, so while we see the scrubber monitor portion of the package add ons integrate better i.e.. co2 monitor, etc.......who knows and I know of nothing except the scrubber monitor but it sets an impressive stage for future expansion.Thanks. |

Yeah, but since the only extra feature you get is the scrubber monitor thats what its all about at the moment.Last edited by Packhorse; 16th January 2012 at 04:07.. |

For anyone who dives in 13C-17C water, it will be nice to get feedback on actual scrubber performance instead of having to use conservative scrubber performance numbers.Dwayne |

Dwayne, if you have no monitoring system, you will have to stick with the 'conservative' numbers, and not trying to do longer, as you will have no info at all if your scrubber, for whatever reason, would not perform as you expectedDwayne paul

Hi Paul:paul Are my statements/assumptions (noted above) about the true value of the RMS system true? |

To my way of thinking this represents the cusp of the cutover form analog to digital. Once digital, upgrades should be plug and play.Ordinarily I would eschew being an early adapter of brand new products, but the CAN bus has been around for a long time and the principals (Shearwater and rEvo) have a pretty good record as regards new offerings. As I only intend to purchase one rebreather the rMS makes sense for me. |
