If I recall correctly, one aspect of the cover was to allow water to drip down the sides of the standard axial scrubber where there is some airspace (insulation) - and this would reduce any water that might enter the scrubber. With the radial design, this air space is critical for the gas path. Do you think water/condensation could potentially collect in this space and get into the scrubber? Thanks, Paul paul

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: Larger cylinders I love the look of the ease of set up of the revo. - I currently have an inspo with back mounted 7s of 50% and 20/30 for bail out/dil, with a 2 ltr o2 mounted on the side - will the Revo allow larger cylinders to be back mounted rather than the 3 ltrs. (hence avoiding side slings for upto 60,m type diving?) The carry handle is going to get in the way. if you are comfortable with the electronic ports/breathing hoses being exposed to impact damage then you can fit oms 45 cft tanks like i did, never got that config wet so no trim data available here. I have been thinking there must be a way to fit cam bands to the sides of the revo, which would allow much larger/longer tanks. I would like to be able to have all the tanks on my back too. |

We do back to back 80m dives with just 3L tanks no problem and most of the time have enough gas left over for a 3rd dive. But we also have off-board capability as a back up if it is needed. and if you are venturing into the realm of 15ATA you had better have duel off-board capability O2 and Dill. At that depth 3L is not much Dill or O2. So going off-board is the best solution also gives a gas change if you want to do it. Something that is very easy to do with the rEvo . Paul When Curt and Mel order theirs I also want to get a set. So i hope their will be enough to go around. ![]()

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: 295 minutes till break trough on rEvo dual radial :-) yeah the other idea i had for all back mount was to use a tiger gear type mount off of the 3l tanks, but im not sure how much weight the connector clips from the revo to the 3l's can take. i am working on offboard setup, i have one of lance robb's manifolds and im going to use that for bov and wing via a qc maybe ap maybe other. i have some cejn's but im not sure yet. then im going to have one of pauls offboard buttons for o2 into the exhale lung also. with a mix of connectors i can swap types if i need to. i figure to run two tanks left sided with this config, and maybe more on a sidemount if i get to that kind of depth or time where i need that much bailout. right now i dont want to do more than 100m or so and with max run times of three hours tops, but i want double the capacity to cover my azz. plus im used to 104's and 80's so revo and 80's works. |
