We americans like to eat fast food ... and some of us were raised very near to nuclear power stations (like ME!!)![]() I think that the rEvo is perfectly balanced (without headweight) I do use 1kg on the side of te rEvo to compensate for the weight of heavy metalsub battery, but dont feel the need tot put weight on top of rEvo.... If you were 6'6'' / 199cm tall, weighed close to 300lb / 135kg, and had to modify your standard rEvo case with spacers to accomodate your lung volume (hey paul, am I still the only person that's had to do this?) Wearing a drysuit and undergarment for 50 degree f / 10 c water. ... you'd understand ![]() |

Hi all, I also feel 10lbs is enormous, for me 2 kg works perfect. (even 3 kg gives me a bit to much head down)![]() I think that the rEvo is perfectly balanced (without headweight) I do use 1kg on the side of te rEvo to compensate for the weight of heavy metalsub battery, but dont feel the need tot put weight on top of rEvo.... but then I use very heavy steel 3l tanks.. offcourse it also depends where you connect other things like (in case of) steel stages (some kind of counterbalance in that case).. with 2 stages I have a total of 7 kg weight (using a CF200 and and extreme weezel +) 2 on top, 3 in middle, 2 on foot (one kg each) paul

I suppose you could drop the used cylinders but they will become more buoyant as you breath them down. But I also agree that the fat content in our bodies is higher than Paul R. and company. And if the rest of you have a physique like him, then its no wonder you don't need much weight! Perhaps I'll go on a diet so I don't need any weights ![]() BTW, I use these weight pockets, they fit perfectly on the bracket and is a great place to store the HUDs when you're not diving.

| CK #287 Pursuit & HUD Current Rebreather/s: | Re: Custom rEvo head weight I'm using a 4lb soft weight on top of the rEvo and it trims fine. Like this one: I had a buddy almost hurt himself with a bungeed weight on his unit when it came off during a dive. We are making something that is semi-permanent and won't fall off.![]() It is secured by two bungees.
