rEvoII #001 becomes a hybrid!

Yesterday me and my rEvo did a 1100km round trip to Paul, for the little one to become a hybrid.

Paul did some modifications to my unit similar to those being done for CE, but I will let him disclose those when he sees fit.

As always, I am very impressed by the factory staff, very competent and they make stripping CCRs look like child's play.

Prior to my visit, following an idea from Dave Sutton (thanks Dave

) and with the making of a couple of adaptors by Martin at Tecme (thanks Martin

), I fitted some Cooper hoses and an Ouroboros mouthpiece to my unit.

My mate John Routley kindly made me a custom HUD holder to fit (thanks John

) and the results can be seen in photos 1 to 4 below.

Photos 5 & 6 show the solenoid/orifice/adv assembly.

Photos 7 & 8 show the 4 cells and splitters, cell #1 & cell #2 run the Shearwater and the primary rEvodream, cell #3 is on the Shearwater and cell#4 runs the secondary rEvodream. HUDS are run by the respective rEvodreams.

Can't get better redundancy than all that.

Photo 9 shows the battery box that runs the solenoid with a 9 volt battery.

I will be progressively diving it to 100 meters next week so will let you all know how it goes.

Looks great!!! Did you steal any parts from the Dyson Vacume on sitting on the floor in the first two picks?
