Re: Pelagian BOV on the rEvo

Hey Marv,

I used tie wraps. Hose clamps are too wide so you can't attach the HUD to the BOV. The lip on the Pelagian BOV is significant enough that a tie wrap is secure enough IMO.

Enjoy it!

Paul

Has anyone recieved the correct orings yet? If not based on my experience with Pauls, you should carry a wench to turn it.

Re: Pelagian BOV on the rEvo

No word on the new o-rings yet.

One fix on the BOV is to NOT use Cristolube but high-quality silicone lubricant instead. I re-lubed the BOV with silicone and its a lot smoother now, although I'm sure the new o-rings will make it better.

I was, even before re-lubing it, able to turn it with one hand in the water -- out of the water it started getting stiff until I re-lubed with silicone.

Mine turns OK in the water, definitely tight on the surface. Still have the original O-Rings in, haven't received the replacement ones yet.
