Hello Lucas,In just some minutes you can change between pure mCCR, Hybride or pure eCCR. But to say the truth, except for some test dives, or specially deep dives, I stay in hybride mode. It's a very agreable mode, no many manual injections, no many solenoïd injections, life is cool! ![]()

![]() | Re: rEvo hybrid conversion kit Huuum this kit seems to be usable on any CCR without modification. It's not only for the rEvo doesn't it? |

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: rEvo hybrid conversion kit Sure it can fit other breather, but it was designed to go easily on a rEvo. With this kit you have no rEvodream, no cells support and only one cell.

The rEvo Shearwater Controller will monitor three cells and use Drager P-ports to plug into the inhale/exhale lungs. It is an independent system so there is no redundancy in this kit by itself, but the standard ppO2 monitor (i.e., Dreams) will provide that. With this kit you have no rEvodream, no cells support and only one cell.

But in the "upgrade kit" there is only one. Three other are yet in the rEvo. Total is four cells. If you buy directly a e-rEvo, you have four cells in the breather.

Okay, now I understand what you were saying. If you buy directly a e-rEvo, you have four cells in the breather. As far as a controller for other rebreathers, the Shearwater would still be able to monitor the cells that exist in the CCR. The main issue would be installing it since the solenoid is made to go into the rEvo scrubber. Also, the gas addition is in the exhale lung while the sensors are in the inhale lung. You would most likely have to modify this for another application.
