Pre Dema Diving in San Diego

Sweeet ... just saw the thread and my name is already on the list!!! Its nice to be wanted

I'll tentatively volunteer to chauffeur Raymaekers from SD to Vegas (will grab my sisters suburban for the trip, it'll hold max 6 passengers)

$4 a gallon for gas, that thing probably gets 8 MPG. The trip is 330 miles.
330/8= 41 gallons
thats about $160 in gas. holy sh!t. And that's only one way. Not even counting the drive from Havasu. Better start saving $ now.

I think it gets 14mpg loaded down with kids pullin a trailer ... hopefully my new employers will graciously let me use my shiney wright express fuel card for the trip. I havent paid for gas in a month. I used to cry at the pump, for now ... I smile basking in everyone elses misery.

Thats a great idea! .... but how bout scheduling dives in San Diego, then Vegas. 2 or 3 days in SD, and 2 at Mead would work really really well.

You can get the Pacific Star for 1, 2, 3 and 4 days trips. It would be easier than these guys getting hotels every night and worrying about driving around San Diego getting fills and sh!t.
