So you dive dry-suits all the time, or does it get substantially warmer in the summer?

I did their course in the summer, it was definately dry-suit diving!!

Yes, drysuits for deco diving all year round. For recreational diving you can get away with a 7 mm suit +/- farmer john layer.

Paul - when are you coming back out to San Diego?
