Thanks for posting the picture and the link.

In the link the first picture shows you cutting the rubber boot with scissors as a first step to opening up the rEvo Dream. Is it necessary to cut the boot?

No, you do not have to cut the boot. Just pull it off. The electronics are also free of the housing. You can rotate them 90 degrees if you wish (there's enough slack in the wiring to do so)

hello Eric, I suppose your instructor showed you how to take it off?? simply lift it a bit while sliding it off, as the rubber is 'locked' over the 8 screws :-)

Of course. Almost one day to pull off-insert-pull off-insert-...a bit tired at the end

I had no problem with others: easy to move.

The (freshly) cuted one was a disturbed person. I preferred to abbreviate.
