Re: Draeger Ray DSV

Martin Tolksdorf at Tecme has the complete Ray loop hoses and DSV for 240 euro.

For individual Ray DSV parts, try here Dräger Ray Atemschlauch Ersatzteile | Online Shop | W+S Water Safety Europe GmbH | Seit 1999

They handle internet orders ok and converse well in english.

So that's 355 dollars + shipping. Not too bad. 418 dollars from Water Safetly + shipping.

Best bet here in the states is to buy a new or used Drager Ray.

Re: Draeger Ray DSV

it's not a mod to the bore. It's an alteration to the barrel, and anyone with access to simple hand tools can do it. As supplied the barrel has a slot in it to allow for expansion/contraction, and when it gets cold the dsv locks up because this slot is not wide enough. This slot needs to be widened out (I believe paul widens it to 1.5mm or 1/16th") and the dsv reassembled.
If you do this yourself remember it's infinitely easier to take more material off than it is to put some back on.

Re: Draeger Ray DSV

Me thinks he did not mess up his DSV trying to modify it. Knowing tyler ... he wants to know how much to pawn/sell it for

His shiney golem gear BOV must be treating him nice enough that he dosent feel the need to keep the drager dsv as a spare.

In that case to give you a guide price, the second hand one I sold with the hoses and right angle connectors went for £85/$165
