![]() | Re: which BOV Thank you for the answers. It seems the HUD is not an issue for the V4Tec and Golem then.

The position is more or less the same as with the original DSV. But I'll have to bend it a little bit for the right HUD to be perfectly visible (Paul has posted a photo somewhere). ![]()

It's not like you are going to deco on it. Just a few breathes prior to switching to an off-board. A BOV needs to be dead-reliable as in you getting PLENTY OF GAS FAST, everything else is nice to have. The old one worked but was a pain in the back It had bad WOB when detuned and it freeflowed when properly adjusted and you don't want to adjust it when you bail out.All in all everything has its own pricetag. If I had nothing to start with I'd probably opt for the LOLA one. I liked the fact that it seems to have nice built quality and it uses readily available Apeks parts.

![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: which BOV Quote: It's not like you are going to deco on it. Just a few breathes prior to switching to an off-board. Depend of the configuration. I don't want to connect my BOV on a 2 or 3 liters tank. At 100 or more meters it's just some breaths. My BOV is connected to an offboard tank. In case of bailout, I stay on it the time to take the second deco gas (which can be connected to the BOV too).

Only the diaphragm and BOV ball valve o-rings are Golem-parts specials. |
