But I think that in this mode the breather will still work fine, only hat it will work automaticaly in pure eCCR mode as the flow at that deep will stop (dipending on orfice and pressure of the sealed first stage). Is that correct?
Friendly Oswald

Until Paul answers, I'll try:

When the sealed first stage outlet pressure equals ambient water pressure, oxygen can not flow thru the orifice, and equally it cannot flow thru the solenoid. The 02 to the solenoid is sent there by that same first stage, so when flow stops in one place it also stops in the second place.

To go deeper, the regulator is unsealed by removing the blanking plug, the orifice is blocked by adding a plug, and the system is then a pure eCCR. The switch takes at most 2-3 minutes.

Perfect rEvo diving today: Flat ocean, 10+ meters visibility on the wreck, air +1 temperature, water +5 degree temperature, and life is good! North Atlantic in winter... who needs the tropics? rEvo behaved perfectly as always. Nice and warm gas is good!

Re: some explanation on the rEvo Hybrid mode

Hi Dave, OK so it's not exactly the same as on my homemade. I use two 02 tanks, one with sealed first stage with 14BAR (use smaller orifice than Kiss and higher pressure ) for O2 gasflow in the mCCR system and one smaller cylinder with a normal first stage (reduced pressure to 6,5 Bar) for the eCCR controller and the solenoid. So if I come to the deep where the flow stops the eCCR still works.
Thank for Your answer.
