Hi all, a new connector is available from rEvo:

a dual P-plug connector that fits the Drager P-port
the connector has a cable gland input PG7 and a MP-hose connector 3/8 24

this connector allows you to enter your unit with a cable for cell-reading or solenoid, AND with any off-board gas connection.

the connector is standard part of the rEvo 2008 package

Hum it will work for a redundant ambient pressure O2 display too, interesting indeed.

But thinking outloud do you think the O ring will work fine without pressure differential?

or 1bar display to, you just need small LCD's, and block the MP hole... but the you don't need this part, but just the single entry (one cable gland) P-plug :-)

offcourse, it is ALWAYS used without pressure difference in any rebreather

extra on the standard rEvo II:

* triple entry port/plug in inhale lung (ready to accept cable for a linked computer)
* 4th p-port in exhale lung
* dual connector into that 4th p-port (like described above)
* ajustable deluxe harness like the dive rite transplate or our new (bit stronger, heavier) we are developing at the moment with Deep Outdoors

the 2008 package will be standard on all 2008 rEvo's at a cost of 200 euro total

Does this mean that you have to order before New Year if you don´t want the deluxe-package or will it be optional? As I don´t fancy paying 200€ for the deluxe package...
