Ok Paul, I wont try this, bad idea.
I asked because I believe dolphin divers can dive with a half scrubber fill (correct me I'm wrong)

Yes, You can half fill a Dolphin canister. It has a special fill adapter to use for this purpose. But this is a different animal too
