| Nice Pair! The *scrubbers*, guys.... not EXPLORERS Mates (Kate and Mya, my erstwhile deckhands and cooks). I'd have Jay Harding in the photo too, but he's sort of scruffy in comparison to the girls and I've never eaten his chow. Just a shot to show how the pair of scrubbers fit into a small pelican case, side by side. Makes handling pre-filled scrubbers a breeze. Diving season is here. rEvo on the U-Boat next weekend, PM if ya'll want to come. Dave

| Re: Nice Pair! Just another few shots: One of the things that is most frustrating about rebreathers is the fact that they are often hard to handle aboard, or as shipped cargo, in the back of the truck, etc. We use the Canadian 150 pound "Fish Totes" universally along the coast here for carrying just about everything, as they are TOUGH, easy to handle, waterproof, and have a snap-on lid that is bulletproof. They are designed to carry 150 pounds of fish to market and are sold everyplace that sells commercial fishing gear. Look for well fed cats on the smelliest part of the dock and you'll be on the right track. In any case, the rEvo does something that NO OTHER rig does: It fits into a fish tote *fully assembled*. Not even a Sport Kiss does that (need to remove one cylinder). Mark-15 fits with the breathing hoses off. Ditto the IDA-71. The rEvo fits *ready to dive*, and the top snaps back on. This may seem like a small thing, but when stowing gear it's a huge thing. The rig with the cylinders attached fit within 1 CM on all dimensions. No sliding, no rattles. Nice.... The tops snap on HARD (don't come off) and they can be tie-wrapped on to ensure security. These wilol go thru airline handling once tie-wrapped. Cost? $13.00 each plus about $6.00 for the top. Made of recycled plastic even! Paul, you might want to get a bunch of these as shipping containers. be a great addition. Don't want Jay to feel left out. Notice how he's being served beer and chips by Kate while playing with the rEvo. We do have fun here! Best, Dave

| Re: Nice Pair! Shoulder block? What shoulder block? Paul asked me not to change a thing.... Blue hose to valve is onboard diluent. Blue hose in middle returns diluent to the rig. Black hose on left feeds BOV. Inlet thru Swagelok non return valve accepts any CEJN input (offboard gas bottle). Whatever is selected as rig gas also feeds the BOV. Onboard gas always feeds the drysuit. Green 02 line feeds the wings / breathing inflator (wing inflate hose is on right side) Either diluent feed line or the 02 feed line can feed either BOV or the inflator... (redundant access to the gas) Drysuit line can also feed the BOV or the inflator..... Lots of flexibility. Dave .

| Re: Nice Pair! so Dave You change out the valves in your drysuit and wing to fit the rest of the system? Could you give us (me) an idea how to do that? Drysuit valves can be had with the CEJN installed, Viking, Unisuit, etc., all have them as standard. Sitex makes the valves. You can buy just the stub to retrofit other Sitex valves. The just thread in and out. The breathing air inflators (except Scubapro) all use this fitting already. The Ocean Reef FFM quick connect hose and fitting for second stage uses this as well. Dave
