I believe it is going to have two inserts that extends the height of the scrubbers so more sorb can be used.

yup, and this is the axial extended

w're now working on the radial extended, to get lower WOB for the extended version (used deeper/longer) because the axial extended is 75% longer than the standard

Should it not be possible to put another two normal size above the original two? In that way you can have those other two as spare ones when normal diving and as extended when you need that. Should be a great solution if it´s possible.

the unit becomes to high... and the WOB will be higher again: in that case the scrubberlenght would become +/- 33 cm long!.. (diameter 15.4 cm)
