Lucky for Paul that the sale doesn't occur in Australia then. Might make it a bit harder for an importer though.Matt Other vendors have the same sort of waivers. Just sign them and get your rebreather. It's not like the manufacturers are going to come to Australia and confiscate your rebreather. I got a lawyer working at consumer affairs to read the disclaimers for a rebreather I bought. She just laughed and said to stop worrying about stuff that is never going to be enforceable here. Then told me to go get more life insurance with her as the beneficiary. Mike

![]() | Re: rEvo II Sales/Resales conditions Objective of the waiver is just to confirm the point that the Manufacturer did everything he could do to warn you about the danger of rebreather. He covers his obligation to inform you (his ass too...). However, it will be the court to decide if their was no negligeance at the end of the day. Depending of territories, this kind of waivers do not have any value. I signed it, and I sleep well. |

![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() ![]() | Re: rEvo II Sales/Resales conditions We know don't worry, that is why you will see me wearing my Ouroboros when I teach Meg, KISS or rEvo, unless I am in Switzerland where I wear the same model unit as the student. Personally, I feel the instructor should always use the unit that's been taught. So teaching non-CE units in Europe seems a bit odd to me. So I'd have to take traing outside of EU, of course not an issue with the Inspo. As for spares, RebeatherSpares don't ask questions about training! |
