PLEASE NOTE. this is not a dig Far from it. When I saw it at LIDS I was Seriously impressed I only thought of these two questions after I had seen the rEvo and meet Paul.

IYHO, if you dropped the rEvo, how well would it stand up.. Well if you dropped it it wouldn't be standing up would it. The answer, I don't know, in 18 years diving CCR I only dropped one CCR. If your question is whether it is solid or not, I think it is and I own 2 Megs and a Boris and have owned various Inspirations an Evolution and had a KISS for awhile, so I have good points of comparison. Cheers, Dave Cooper.

IYHO, if you dropped the rEvo, how well would it stand up.. Handsets work like magic. We'll see about a rubber-gloved hand, but I trust that others find it to be fine. At the worst I'll tap it with my light... Dropping it? I think it would do darned well. It's LOADS more durable and less vulnerable than a Sport Kiss, for example. Better than anything else I've seen, in fact. Hey, it's *metal*. Does not get more durable than that! This rig is a keeper. I am *hugely* impressed, and I do not impress easially. It has everything I could ask for in a rig. The scrubber design alone is worth the rig. Quick changing 'sorb is a piece of cake. Best in the industry, zero doubt. Dave

I asked about the Handset control as it dawned on me that things can get knocked about underwater, Have there been problems with unintensional taps And no, not the taps on sinks ![]()

This rig looks really sweet. I have corresponded with Paul and it sounds like more of these rigs and training will become available in the US around DEMA. Does anyone know what agencies will be providing training in the US and who potential instructor's will be and their location?Dropping it? I think it would do darned well. Paul can say more, but the taps need to be timed in a very specific way. A tap now, another later, and yet another sometime later is not "three taps". Dave

Dunno, I do know that mine is available for trial dives and show-and-tell if anyone wants to play with one. This rig will no doubt supplement/replace/? the KISS as "The mCCR of Choice", so my guess is that infrastructure in the USA will be well developed over time. Heck, I might even need to start teaching on it myself. Dave
