REVO and VR3

Hi,
I recently decided my first CCR will be a REVOII. I just sent the money, and have few months to kill before flying it.... I decided to plug my VR3 and Paul will install a "p-port triple entry". I guess 2 for the revodream and one for the VR3.
i would like to purchase the cable, but I am not sure about the connection type (Revo side, other side is fisher).
Can a REVO user tell me which cable is needed ? Where I can get one (I cannot see it on Delta P site) ?
A picture on the connection triple entry port would be great...
Thank you.
Cheers,
Nicolas

Re: REVO and VR3

Hello Nicolas,

Wise decision, you won't regreat your choice.
While waiting for it, you'll have plenty of time to learn how to correctly write rEvo !!!

I am sure Paul can help you with the VR3 cable, just ask him.

Re: REVO and VR3

All my apologies for the spelling. I believe 3 months should be ok to learn about rEvo (アルエボーin Japanese).
I am certain Paul will provide me additional information on the VR3 connection.
Are you using a VR3 or something else for deco ?
Cheers,
Nicolas

Re: REVO and VR3

Hi nTokyo:
Yes, i'm using a VR3 but not connected to the inspi.
I've the classic inspi and i keept the original hansets with his 3 sensors and i add two extra sensors for the rEvodream.
I'was thinking to connect the vr3 also, actually i had the cable and fischer connector, but i decided that it was not necessary.
I supposed that 5 sensors is enaught.

But, right now, we are instaling the rEvodream in a friends Submatix.
He is going to use two sensors for the rEvodream and one else for the vr3.
We think that it is a very good solution for the Submatix.
Obiously it is also a very good solution for the rEvoII.

Enjoy your time out of the water learnig about your new toy and enjoy your time underwater without bubbles.

Best

Thank you for the description. I want to use it in the same way than the Submatix, after I will see what to do with more experience.
Just one question: why do you use 5 sensors ? Did you experience some issues with the 3 original sensors ? It seems you do not want to rely on them...
Best Regards,
Nicolas

Re: REVO and VR3

Hi Nicolas

It is because i wanted an absolutely independient measuring system.
I've even tried the inspi with the hansets off and i can dive it manually without problems.

Best

Good choice.
What's about the P-Port triple entry? Where?
The rEvo usually has a row under the Inhalation CL...
If the P-Port is somewhere else you could choose the VR3 but just with Xdec function enabled, it will show the FO2, and you need the cable and a connection, depending on what Paul is mounting, eventually the Dräger Port kit.
However be aware that if you buy, say a Dräger Rebreather Interface (C8a), you still need the PIN to activate Xfunc (external connection).

I'm sure Al at Delta P will help you better.

Best and enjoy you new toy.

Hi, I guess it is the standard port where is connected the revodream. A simple connection is added. But I am not sure of the format. Best is I check with Paul. What is certain it is not an additional p-port.
For the code, I will buy it on Diveriteexpress, I think I should be ok. Only the proper cable...
Thank you very much for your advice.
Cheers,
Nicolas
